Modern technology gets to Orogun households.

ffOver one thousand Orogun households last week (27th to 30th January 2015), benefited from the climate change mitigation technology called the Eco-Stove.

Eco- Stove is a cooking technology developed by ENVIRUMEDIC in collaboration with Delta State Govt. UNDP, ECOBANK and WorldBank to help community women and to also stop deforestation

The Distribution started with Ebor-Orogun to Emonu-Orogun and ended with Ugono-Orogun community in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria.

 

Mrs. Obukohwo GraceMrs.  Grace Obukohwo has this to testify. “My name is Mrs. Grace Obukohwo, i live in Emonu, i am a peasant farmer, married with 6 (six) Children. I now use little firewood for my cooking and i don’t suffer smoke attack anymore and my food cooks in a very short period of time. Thank you ENVIRUMEDIC for bringing Eco-Stove to my community”.
